PART # 1

DISCRIPTIONS OF THE WORLD AS SEEN THROUGH THE BLOOD-SHOT EYES OF KEVIN STING. THE FIRST PAGE OF THE LIST WILL FOLLOW THIS INTRODUCTION:

FIRST:

EXPLAINING KEVIN STING, AND WHAT MAY LURK WITHIN THE DARKSIDE OF HIS MIND, (OR WHATS LEFT OF IT.)

Kevin Stings' Brain is continually in motion, but at times it seems to abruptly leave the road and head for the ditch. Kevin is a man who has been known to attack each new day with one-half of his brain tied behind his back, and also swears that he can hear the sound of 'One hand' Clapping. (I for one, believe he can).

One dark rainy night during a full moon Kevin put his pen down began staring out the window at the night time sky and began to speak into a tape recorder that was almost as old as he was, but still worked (for some strange reason.) The batteries were worn out so he plugged it into a plug receptal hanging from the ceiling. (When you live in a Dirt Room you take what you can get.)

What he intended was to record his thoughts, his discriptions of the world, and the people who lived in it. He had always referred to them as the 'Others,' the 'Human Beings', or those who lived on the 'Lightside.'

He really never explained why, but as I got to know him it became more clear that he never considered himself a part of that 'normal' world. His own world was quite different, and very dark. He knew this kind of world very well, (maybe too well at times.)

The "Others" (as he called them) had the beautiful sunlight to illuminate their happy days; his own was the much dimmer moonlight that was of little help, but it drew his attention much like a moth that cannot resist flying toward an almost certain death in the flame. At times it did drive him a little crazy, and it shows in his writings.

But lets not delve too much into what I know of kevin Sting. Instead I will type out the words that he has recorded but refuses to write about. I feel that by illuminating kevins' thougts it may help, and assist new Authors who find that 'Discription' is very difficult for them. New authors sometimes write great stories, but in the end, after reading them over, realize that something is missing. That 'something' is the ability to discribe people, their behavior, their emotions, and the situations they are experiencing which includes those persons reactions to particular situations.

Sometimes, for the newer authors it is just too difficult to imagine, and write about those things that they, (for one reason or another, possibly being young,) have never experienced all that the world holds. They sometimes find themselves at a loss to  paint their imagined pictures with the eloquence the story may demand.

I feel that Kevins' dark thoughts, and years of studying the 'Others', as he watched and studied them and their behavior, may assist new writers in some way, or maybe not, time will tell.

I can't vouch for everything that he contributes and because of that fact, I will be typing out the words that he has recorded, (at least the ones that I can under-stand,) because sometimes they are a little garbled as the moon rises higher in the sky, and he finally notices it and kind of loses his train of thought. In those particular moments in time, he is more interested in understanding why it can move, but only when his attention is diverted to other things.

As time goes by, and Kevin records more of these little gems I will add more to the list of discriptions.  Because as I stated, kevins' mind is continually busy  and there will be more, believe me. As you can understand he speaks from a world we can barely imagine or ever know, unless we are unlucky enough to visit it for a brief time during our nightmares.

Are all of his Discriptions from that area? No, they aren't, but if you find some that are too complex to understand, you may have hit on one or two of those that make sense.

Now, it is time, to enter the mind, and darkness....of Kevin Sting. I'll turn the tape recorder on and begin transcribing his words as they discribe his thoughts.

For want of a better term, you may just refer to them as 'Scribblings and Dribblings.' (And some are,) but with that said, if you can make use of anything written here, you are welcome to take them and use them as your own. Eventually, in the future, this may be published as an E-Book, and possibly sold.....but that remains to be seen; until then...it remains Free.

Sometimes Kevin wonders about those he always referred to as the "Others." He noticed that there were many who did not quite fit into society, and drew strange and irractic pictures of them in his mind, (not realizing that he too, was one of 'them.')

In the meantime you may use kevins' discriptions of how he sees, (or does not see) the world in any way you deem useful in your written work. You still must realize that everything on this website is copyrighted, and though you have the use, you do not have the right to copy entire pages, (Yet).

TIP:

THESE DISCRIPTIONS ARE BEING TYPED OUT JUST THE WAY THEY WERE SPOKEN INTO THE TAPE RECORDER, THUS THEY ARE NOT IN ORDER. IN THE FUTURE, WHEN I HAVE THE TIME I WILL ORGANIZE THEM SUBJECT-WISE TO MAKE IT MORE SIMPLE TO SEARCH THEM.

ADDED NOTE:

Do not follow the simple examples of Punctuation shown in the 'Discriptions' List. My Literature teacher while grading my work felt that it would not be appropriate to give me an 'F' and so gave me a 'G'....Thinking that stood for (G)reat, I left that class feeling satisfied that I had received the highest of awards. (Apparently I was mistaken.)

And please Remember ownership of any material here remains in my posession; and so you cannot copy these pages in their entirety and publish them. You may only borrow what you need for your stories ideas etc. We're certainly happy to allow you to do that.

Thank you!

(You may notice that I am inserting subject titles to assist you, as you look for information. And please take into consideration that Kevin Sting is a man who believes that someone hangs the moon out there in the sky each night just so he can stare at. Anyone with that kind of thinking  has to be a little light in the sneakers.
